PRESENT PERFECT (EXPERIENCE)+ EVER AND NEVER

*Use the present perfect to talk about past experiences when you don´t say exactly when they happened.
I´ve been to London. NOT I´ve been to London last year
My brother has worked abroad


* For regular verbs the past participle is the same as the past simple (+ed). For Irregular verbs.


*We often use the present perfect with ever (=in your life until now) and never.
Have you ever to London? No, I´ve never been there.


!!Compare the present perfect of go and be.
He´s gone to Paris.=He´s in Paris now
He´s been to Paris= He went to Paris and came back.

USED WITH THE PRESENT PERFECT

Ever means 'at any time', the specific time is unknown or unnecessary, and is used in questions.
è Have you ever met a famous person ?
(Did you meet a famous person at any time in the past.)
Never is originally a contraction of 'not ever'.
Ever is also used with nothing, nobody for things that haven't happened before.
è - Nobody has ever travelled through time.
Never means the subject hasn't had a certain experience before.
è Have you ever been abroad? No, I've never been abroad.
(I've never had that experience before.)
Ever is also used with 'the first time' for first experiences.
è This is the first time I've ever eaten snake soup.
Never can be used in negative questions to show the surprise that you've never had a certain experience before.
è Have you never played soccer?
